How Athan works on this device

Prayer alerts currently work while Riwaq is open and visible. Full Athan needs a selected recording and an explicit setup on this device. A notification and Athan playback are separate.

Closing, hiding or locking the app can stop delivery. Browser push cannot play a full Athan. Volume, silent mode and Focus remain under your device’s control.

Sunrise is timetable information only. A reminder never records a prayer.
